Current vacancy: Speech Pathologist
We are currently looking for a Speech Pathologist to join our team. This position provides community-based speech pathology services to adolescents and adults. Services are delivered in a variety of settings, including individual client homes, disability group homes, support employment centres, aged care facilities, and private hospitals. Client programs are goal-directed and focused on functional outcomes, and are delivered in an interprofessional, collaborative manner. This is a mobile position, and uses portable technology, cloud-based practice management software, and cloud-based admin systems to organise duties, appointments, and tasks quickly and effectively. The position actively participates in Wollongong Speech Pathology’s team environment.
Essential criteria:
- Certified Practicing membership of Speech Pathology Australia
- Current driver’s licence and access to your own car
- Proven experience supporting adults with communication and swallowing difficulties
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Demonstrated time management and organisational skills, and ability to work autonomously
- High level of computer literacy
